In this last phase of Kali Yuga, it is essential for Sat Yogis to realize the Truth now. But the ego-mind obscures the truth of what we are with the projections and defenses that arise from a lifetime of suffering. We must first realize our suffering is phenomenal, so we can overcome our traumas and stop the mind that suffers–and then the True Self takes over and the Truth of Reality is realized.
