Last night at 10pm there was no toilet paper available for sale at Whole Foods, Rite Aide, CVS or any store within many blocks of my home in NYC. This morning the mainstream news was reporting blocks long lines outside Trader Joes and runs on supermarkets all over the city. It’s a super sunny Saturday so I am going to take a firsthand look at the socioeconomic impact of the Covid-19 virus on New York City at the street level.
